UPC - EAN - Code 128 - SVG or PNG

Give the scanner
something useful.

Create a crisp barcode for an existing identifier, adjust its size and colors, and download a vector SVG or high-resolution PNG.

Barcode values stay in this browser. Generation and downloads happen locally with a bundled open-source encoder.

01

Choose the barcode format

This tool encodes an identifier. It does not issue official UPC or GS1 company numbers.

Format and visual style are remembered. Barcode values are not.

Important: Retail barcode artwork is not the same as obtaining a valid product identifier. Use numbers assigned by the appropriate standards organization or your trading partner.
The useful formats

Pick the standard that fits the job.

01

Code 128

A compact general-purpose format for letters, numbers, inventory labels, and internal workflows.

02

UPC and EAN

Retail formats with fixed numeric lengths and a check digit. The tool validates the number before export.

03

SVG stays sharp

Vector download is best for printing. PNG is convenient for documents and ordinary digital use.

Straight answers

Barcode questions.

Does this tool give me an official UPC number?

No. It creates the barcode artwork for a value you already have. Official product identifiers are issued through the appropriate standards and business channels.

Why does EAN or UPC reject my number?

Those formats require an exact number of digits and a valid final check digit. Enter the shorter form to let the encoder calculate the check digit.

Which download is best for printing?

SVG is resolution independent and usually the best choice for labels and print layouts.

Should I test the barcode?

Yes. Print or display the final artwork at its intended size and test it with the actual scanner and workflow before relying on it.
