A heavy, flattened blur removes substantial detail, but weak blur and small pixel blocks may still leave clues. Use strong settings, keep the soft edge modest, add enough extra coverage, and check the downloaded image before sharing it.
Some browsers include on-device face detection, and the Find faces for me button appears there. Manual ovals remain the reliable method and let you decide exactly who should be hidden. Always check the result yourself.
No. The browser creates a new pixel-only JPG or PNG, so the original EXIF metadata is not copied into the download. The source file on your device is never changed.
