Your chapters

Separate paragraphs with a blank line. Use ## for a section heading, > for a quote, or - for a list. Plain text is welcome too.

Page size & typography

Changes size and typography, not your words or images.

Title page, headers & page numbers

The title page and added blank pages count in the physical sequence but have no printed number. Chapter openings have no running header.

Illustrations in this chapter

JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 25 MB and 24 million pixels. Images are fitted whole, never cropped. Up to 60 per book, within the session memory limit.

Loading local fonts…

PDF text stays sharp and selectable. Print at actual size. Check your printer’s trim, margins and binding requirements and make a physical proof.

How do I turn a draft into printable pages?

Open a UTF-8 TXT or Markdown file, or write directly into the example. In Markdown, a single # starts a new chapter. Each chapter begins on a new page, with mirrored inner and outer margins for binding. Paragraphs that cross pages keep at least two lines together.

Which content can I import and keep editing?

It handles single-column text, section headings, quotes, simple lists and local illustrations. It does not import DOCX, interpret HTML, fetch linked images, or lay out footnotes and tables. Save a project ZIP to keep illustrations with your text. Text-only projects download as JSON. Your browser draft remembers text and settings, not image files.
