Start with sounds your learner knows. Say the words aloud together; this tool does not play audio. Beginning and ending activities connect sounds to letters. A digraph such as sh spells one sound, while a blend such as bl keeps two sounds. Letter groups such as wh can sound different across speakers. Rhyming keys list an example when choices are off; other correct spoken rhymes may also work. These are practice suggestions, not a reading assessment or a curriculum certification.

Missing letters accepts custom English words. Sound activities require words from their reviewed list so the tool does not guess how an unfamiliar word is pronounced.
Only suitable selected words are used, once each. A small sound or picture group may contain fewer words than your requested count. The status message explains the actual set.
