Edit photo book

1. Make it your book

Photo & crop

Use the crop controls to keep faces and important details outside the red binding bands. No automatic face detection. The bands do not appear in downloads.

JPG, PNG or WebP; 25 MB and 24 million pixels per image. Choose photos for this page and the photo positions after it. Paired pages share one photo.

Type & color
Page order & length

Move facing pairs together to preserve continuous photos. The first and last pages stay as covers.

4–40 pages. Remove and reorder actions can be undone.

2. Set the print size

Start with another example

The examples use original landscape illustrations, not stock photos. Replace them with your own photographs.

Opening the local example…

Check the middle before you print. A continuous photo crosses the binding. A bound book may hide detail there—even when the PDF is complete. Keep faces and key details outside the red bands and confirm the required safety width with your printer.

    All facing pages

    Pages or spreads?

A single-page PDF follows reading order: front cover, pages inside, then back cover. A spread PDF places facing pages together; the covers remain single pages. Ask your printer which format they need. These are trimmed pages without added bleed or binding compensation, not a universal vendor template.

    Will my photos be cropped?

Photos show completely by default. Fill the frame crops the view without changing the original file. A continuous photo uses the left page’s image; the right page’s separate photo is kept until you turn that option off. Your captions remain independent and stay outside the inner safety area.

How do I keep an editable copy?

Text and settings save locally. Photos stay in memory and are not permanently saved by the automatic draft. Save project downloads a ZIP with the original images. Open that ZIP to restore the complete book. PNG files are raster images; PDF text stays selectable. These files have not been certified by a printer or book vendor.
