The original is never replaced. PNG avoids final JPEG compression, but it cannot restore detail already lost in a JPEG or HEIC source.

How it works

A finished photo in three simple steps.

1

Choose your photos

Open up to 12 camera photos from this device. Nothing is uploaded.

2

Check the finished preview

Camera details already in the file appear automatically. Change the style or edit the fields only if you want to.

3

Save a new copy

Your original stays untouched. The new JPG or PNG is rendered at the photo's original resolution.

Photo and privacy questions

Useful details before you save.

Does this change my original photo?

No. The tool creates a separate new image with the information panel or overlay. It never rewrites your original file.

Why are some camera settings missing?

The tool only displays metadata actually present in the selected file. Editing apps, messaging services, screenshots, and social networks often remove EXIF data.

Which camera details can it read?

Supported fields include camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, 35mm equivalent, exposure compensation and program, metering, white balance, flash, date taken, pixel dimensions, color space, camera software, and optional GPS coordinates.

Does it read my photo location?

Not by default. GPS starts off on every visit and is not remembered. If you explicitly include GPS coordinates, they are read locally for the open batch and can appear visibly on copies you export. Turning GPS off removes them from the open tool state.

Can I use iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes in most modern browsers. The HEIC file is decoded locally for the new framed copy. A few newer or unusual HEIC variants may not open in every browser.

What does Save photo do?

On a device that supports file sharing, it opens the normal share sheet. Otherwise, it downloads the finished copy. Canceling the share sheet leaves the photo open so you can try again.
