Turn “someday” into
a real monthly number.
Estimate what you could have at retirement, what that balance may pay each month, and whether it lines up with the life you’re planning.
See the balance build year by year.
Clear assumptions, no fortune-telling.
Build the balance
Your current savings compound once per year. Annual contributions are added at the end of each year, which keeps the estimate conservative and easy to audit.
Turn it into income
The monthly savings draw is calculated across your chosen retirement years and is designed to rise with the inflation rate you entered.
Test the runway
Your expected spending minus other income becomes the first monthly withdrawal. The tool then grows both the balance and future withdrawals month by month.
A retirement balance only becomes useful when you compare it with the monthly life it needs to support.
An estimate, not financial advice.
Returns and inflation change. This calculator leaves out taxes, fees, contribution limits, account-specific withdrawal rules, pensions, health costs, and market sequence risk. Social Security is entered by you rather than guessed here. Traditional retirement accounts may also have IRS required minimum distribution rules.

Retirement calculator questions.
Why is the sample result different from a quick compound-interest estimate?
This calculator assumes annual contributions arrive at the end of each year, then accounts for inflation when turning the balance into monthly income. A calculator using beginning-of-year deposits or ignoring inflation will show a different result.
Does the monthly number include Social Security?
No. “Monthly from savings” comes only from the projected retirement balance. Your Social Security and other income estimate is added separately when calculating income coverage and the savings runway.
What does “How long savings may last” mean?
It is the modeled time before the balance reaches zero while covering your spending gap. Spending and other income start in today’s dollars, then rise together with your inflation estimate.
Are taxes and fees included?
No. Taxes, account fees, investment expenses, and penalties vary by person and account type. Treat the result as a planning estimate, not a tax or investment recommendation.
