What is a screenshot annotator?
A screenshot annotator helps you point out a button, frame a problem, add short instructions, or number a sequence directly on an image. It is useful for bug reports, customer support, training notes, design reviews, and quick how-to instructions.
This tool stays intentionally narrow: it marks up screenshots. It does not try to become a general photo editor.

Use Solid Cover for addresses, account numbers, license plates, or other information that must not remain visible. Pixelation and blur are visual effects and are not presented as guaranteed removal.
Always inspect the downloaded image at full size before you send it.

Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. The selected image, annotations, crop, and exported PNG are processed in this browser tab. The page itself still loads like any normal website, but HandyPebble does not receive your image through this tool.
Can I edit an arrow or note after I place it?
Yes. Choose Select, click the annotation, and then move it, resize it, or change its color and size. Double-click selected text, press Enter, or use Edit selected text to revise the wording.
Does the download keep the original image size?
Yes. The PNG is rendered from the source image pixels rather than from the zoomed editor preview. If you crop, the downloaded dimensions match the crop area.
What is the safest way to hide private information?
Choose Redact and leave the style set to Solid Cover. It replaces the selected area with an opaque color in the exported image. Inspect the final PNG before sharing it.
Why might Copy image be unavailable?
Some browsers or privacy settings block writing images to the clipboard. The Download PNG button uses the same full-resolution result and remains the reliable fallback.
What happens when I close the tab?
Your screenshot and annotations are discarded. Only the last color and line-width preferences may be remembered on this device.
