Yes, while you remain in the editor. Once you download and close the tab, the edit history is gone.
Is pixelation guaranteed to protect sensitive information?
It permanently alters the exported pixels in that rectangle, but you should still inspect the downloaded image and avoid sharing highly sensitive material unnecessarily.
