Preparing the example…

Cut SVGs stay blocked while structural warnings remain. PDF and JSON reports can show an unfinished design so you can review it. PDF artwork is scaled to fit Letter; SVGs keep the full material size. Save as PDF is also available in the print dialog.

A small bridge keeps an important detail in place.

The center of an O, A, B, P or R is an island of material. Without a bridge, it falls out when you cut the surrounding shape. This tool finds those islands, suggests connections and checks the remaining sheet after your edits.

What does the structural check mean?

It checks that the remaining material is connected and stays connected after an inward offset based on your minimum supported width. Small islands that vanish at that width are flagged. This is geometric screening, not a strength calculation or a guarantee about your material, grain, thickness, blade or cutter. Make a test cut.

    Which SVGs work?

Use closed filled shapes under 500 KB, up to eight fill colors, 100 shapes and 12,000 points. Apply transforms and outline text or strokes before import. Colors become one stencil cutout design. Scripts, external resources, images, masks, styles and crossing outlines are refused. Complex curves may need simplification. The tool does not trace photos.

How are files and fonts handled?

Your design stays in this browser. Lato and Barlow are self-hosted open-source fonts; cut lettering is exported as paths, not font-dependent text. Save project backs up text or vector shapes and bridge edits. Start over clears this tool’s local draft after confirmation; downloads stay untouched.
