A wrap that follows the taper
- Measure the surface. Enter top and bottom circumferences and vertical height. Equal circumferences create a straight rectangular wrap.
- Make the design yours. Edit each image and text layer. The curved layout preserves the slant of the cup rather than stretching it into a rectangle.
- Test the fit. Download the design check sheet and print its 100 mm ruler at actual size. Confirm the wrap on your cup before producing a batch.
Before you print
Does this fit every tumbler?
No. This tool models a straight-sided cylinder or a circular, evenly tapered cup. Rounded shoulders, changing tapers, handles and irregular shapes need a manufacturer-specific template. Do not use this calculated wrap as a substitute for that template.
Why is the flat artwork curved?
A tapered cup unfolds into part of a ring. The top and bottom arc lengths come from your measurements, and their radial separation follows the sloping surface. This is a geometric development, not a photograph of the product preview.
What is in the downloaded files?
PNG has a transparent area outside the wrap. SVG and PDF preserve outlined text and geometric artwork; photos remain raster images mapped into the curve. No selection boxes or preview shading are exported. Output is RGB, not PDF/X or a machine-specific print format.
What is saved locally?
Settings and text are remembered on this device; uploaded images are not automatically stored. Save project downloads a ZIP with the images for later editing. Your design files are never uploaded. Opening the website still makes ordinary page requests.
Will a higher resolution improve a small photo?
No. Export resolution controls output pixels, not the detail in your original. Low-resolution warnings use the original image and crop size. PNG pixel dimensions correspond to the selected PPI at the displayed physical size; a density metadata tag is not promised.
