Preparing the example…
The SVG contains separately named artwork and helper layers at full physical size. PDF artwork is scaled to fit Letter. Save as PDF is also available in your print dialog. Make a small test cut before using the full sheet.
Keep the design. Divide what you peel away.
Open finished, closed SVG artwork, choose the amount of space around it, and add divider lines. The original paths stay in their own layer; helpers break the surrounding vinyl into smaller sections.
Will a divider cut through my artwork?
Divider segments are removed wherever they meet the retained artwork and its clearance. An extra 0.07 mm protects against the curve approximation and rounding used in the geometric check. This is not a cutter accuracy guarantee; confirm the clearance with a real test cut.
What kind of SVG can I open?
Use closed filled shapes, a viewBox, and declared width and height. The tool preserves the source coordinate system and physical size; it does not automatically fit artwork into the page. Pixel dimensions use 96 pixels per inch. Plain SVGs under 500 KB can contain up to 100 shapes and 12,000 sampled points. Apply transforms and outline strokes or text before import. Scripts, external resources, images, styles and crossed outlines are refused.
What stays on my device?
Artwork, helper positions and settings are stored as a local draft. Save project downloads a portable backup. Start over clears this tool’s draft after confirmation. No design files are uploaded and no machine speed, power or blade commands are generated.
