What counts as a word?
The tool counts groups containing letters or numbers, including words with internal apostrophes or hyphens.
How is reading time estimated?
It uses 225 words per minute, a practical general estimate. Real reading speed varies with audience and subject.
Does the page save my draft?
No. This privacy choice also means closing the tab can lose unsaved text, so copy or download anything important.
What does Remove duplicate lines do?
It keeps the first copy of each nonblank line and removes later exact matches. Capitalization still matters.
