Phone & Computer File Transfer Version 2.0.0

Phone & Computer File Transfer

Move a file between the phone in your hand and the computer in front of you. Scan the QR code once, wait for the clear connected message, and send in either direction.

Your file is not uploaded to HandyPebble. A small connection service helps the browsers find each other; the file travels through the browser connection.

1

Scan once. You are connected.

Open your phone camera and scan the QR code below.

Phone & Computer File Transfer handles the everyday handoff between the two screens you already use. Move a phone video to your computer, send a document back to your phone, or pass over a photo for editing. Open the page on your computer, scan the QR code with your phone, and the two browsers connect automatically—no account, cable, shared folder, or code to type.

1

Open it on your computer

A one-time QR code appears automatically.

2

Scan with your phone

Your phone connects by itself. There is nothing to type.

3

Drop in the file

Choose one file, wait for both browsers to connect, and send it.

4

Save it

The receiving browser checks the byte count before showing the save button.

Good for

Phone photos, large videos, ZIP archives, documents, and one-off transfers between a nearby Windows or Mac computer and an Android phone, iPhone, or iPad.

Why use this instead?

This is not a shared cloud folder. The little connection service only introduces the two browsers; it does not receive or store the file itself.

Worth knowing: The transfer needs both browser tabs to stay open. Direct device connections can be blocked by some corporate, school, hotel, or locked-down mobile networks.
