Your files and clipboard text are not stored by HandyPebble. The browser tools use a small connection service to help two browsers find each other; the content moves through their encrypted connection. PebblePaste is a separate Windows and Intel Mac app that connects directly on your local network without a hosted connection service. Received files use a temporary private cache on the receiving computer so the operating system can paste them.
