Is my signature uploaded or saved?
No. Drawing, typing, photo cleanup, trimming, and export happen locally in your browser. The signature and any photo you choose are kept only in the current tab and are not stored when you close it.
How do I get a clean signature from a paper photo?
Write with dark ink on plain white paper, use even light, and fill the photo with the signature. Choose Upload photo, select the picture, then move Paper cleanup toward Strong if shadows or paper texture remain.
Why should I download a transparent PNG?
A transparent PNG has no white rectangle behind the ink, so it sits cleanly on documents with white or colored backgrounds.
Can I add the image to Word or a PDF?
Yes. Download the PNG, then use the document application's normal Insert Image or Add Image control. Keep the original file somewhere private if you plan to reuse it.
Is this the same as a verified digital signature?
No. It creates an image of a signature. It does not verify identity, record consent, create a certificate, or determine whether a particular recipient or document will accept it.
Does it work on phones and computers?
Yes. The complete workflow is available on both. Phones accept finger and stylus input; computers accept a mouse, trackpad, touchscreen, or compatible pen.
