How to Add a Watermark
Add a photo
Choose or drop a JPG, PNG or WebP photo. The preview uses a smaller working copy; the download keeps the original pixel dimensions.
Make it yours

Text and Logo Watermarks
A short name, handle or website makes a practical text watermark. Use a lighter color on dark photos and a darker color on pale backgrounds. Registered, self-hosted fonts are loaded before rendering; characters outside their coverage use your browser’s fallback font.
For an existing brand mark, upload a transparent PNG or WebP logo. Its proportions and transparent edges are preserved. SVG logos are not accepted in this version: they can contain scripts and remote resources.
Choose the Right Watermark Position
A corner signature is useful for portfolios and product photos. A subtle center mark is harder to crop away, but can cover an important detail. A repeating diagonal pattern can suit a proof or listing preview. None of these placements guarantees protection against copying.
Private Watermarking in Your Browser
Image decoding, preview rendering, encoding and ZIP packing happen in this tab. Your images and logo are not sent to a server or saved in browser storage. Reloading the page clears the session. Local font files and the ZIP helper may be requested from this site; those requests do not contain your images or watermark text.
Work with up to 20 photos, 100 MB of selected files total, 30 MB per photo and 24 megapixels per image. Logos are limited to 8 MB and 4 megapixels. ZIP downloads are limited to 64 MB of finished images. Large images that exceed the safety limits are refused, not silently resized. Use Image Resizer to make a smaller local copy if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add my own logo?
Yes. Choose Logo and Upload Logo, then select a PNG or WebP file. Transparent files work especially well. SVG is not accepted for safety.
Can I watermark multiple photos?
Yes. Add up to 20 photos and use the same relative size, position and opacity for each. Download one image at a time, or choose Download All (ZIP). A damaged image is reported separately and does not stop the rest. Cancel stops the remaining work; a partial ZIP contains only finished images.
Can I export a transparent PNG?
Yes. Choose PNG to keep transparent pixels from your original PNG/WebP image and logo. PNG uses lossless encoding. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are composited onto white.
Does the tool upload my photos?
No. Your photos, logo and watermark text are processed in this browser tab. Website visits can still create ordinary server traffic; local image processing does not make visiting a website anonymous.
Can a watermark prove copyright ownership?
A watermark can identify a creator and discourage casual reuse. It is not proof of ownership or a guarantee against removal. Keep original files and records of your work.
Will my original image or its resolution change?
Your original is never modified. The downloaded copy keeps the decoded image’s pixel dimensions, including browser-handled orientation. It is a newly encoded image: JPEG/WebP can be lossy, and original EXIF or ICC metadata may not be retained.
