How to arrange photos for printing
- Add your photos. Choose several JPG, PNG, or WebP files, or drop them into the photo list. Try the sample layout first if you want to see how the controls work.
- Set up the paper. Choose Letter or A4, portrait or landscape, and a grid. Extra photos continue onto the next page. Margins and spacing are in points: 72 points equal one inch.
- Arrange and crop. Select a photo in the preview or list. Move it earlier or later, duplicate it, or remove it. Fit shows the whole photo; Fill covers its cell; Crop also lets you adjust zoom and position.
- Add a few words. An optional page title, date, photo captions, filenames, or numbering can turn a photo sheet into a useful record. Text stays within its allocated space; very long captions end with an ellipsis.
- Download or print. Download every page in a PDF, or download the current page as a 300-pixel-per-inch PNG. Print uses the same positions and original image files. Use matching paper and Actual size / 100%.
Print with predictable dimensions
US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches. A4 is 210 × 297 mm. The default margin is ⅓ inch (24 points). Choose matching paper, use Actual size / 100%, and turn off browser headers and footers. PDF and PNG photos are rendered at 300 pixels per inch; low-resolution source photos may still look soft when enlarged. Print a test page first.
Frequently asked questions
How many photos can I arrange?
Up to 24 photos, including duplicates. Unique source images are limited to 60 MB and 48 megapixels in total. Individual photos can be up to 15 MB and 16 megapixels. This keeps local editing and exporting manageable.
Will my photos be stretched?
No. Fit, Fill, and Crop preserve each photo’s proportions. Fill and Crop trim the edges to cover the available cell.
Can I change photo order?
Yes. Select a photo and use Earlier or Later. These buttons also work with a keyboard or touch. Duplicate inserts another copy immediately after the selected photo.
Does the PDF contain all pages?
Yes. The PDF includes all photo pages, at the chosen Letter or A4 dimensions. The PNG button downloads only the page currently shown.
Are my files saved or uploaded?
No. Photos and layout changes stay in this page’s memory. Nothing is uploaded. Download the finished PDF before closing the page.
Are empty cells printed?
No frames or labels are drawn for unused cells. A partly filled final page stays in the same grid, without creating extra blank pages.
